This is a very easy way to generate funds for the Scout Group and you can make a big difference to the activities that we are able to provide to our members. In the final three months of 2006 group members spent over £3500 at Amazon, which means that the group has made over £180. Despite serving us well for the last 50 years, it is now in need of replacement. Some fundraising is going to be necessary to achieve this task, and we need to generate tens of thousands of pounds to get the job done. If you have any ideas for generating some cash for this expensive project, our fundraising team is always ready to listen! If you have ever wanted to learn to play an instrument then this could be your chance! We play a variety of instruments in the band; bugles, snare drums, tenor drums, bell lyres, and cymbals. If you are not already familiar with this fund raising scheme then please read on... Every time you change the ink/toner cartridge in your printer at home or at work, you could be making a valuable contribution to the group. If we return the cartridges in bulk, printer manufacturers will pay us a small amount for each one towards our group funds. It may not be much for each cartridge, but if we can collect enough of them then the money soon adds up. Please wrap the old cartridge from your laser or inkjet printer, preferably in its original packaging or in a sealed plastic bag, and hand it to one of our leaders. If you work in an office, please ask if you may collect the empty cartridges and bring them to us.
